Stranger Things hosts one of the most-devoted fandoms in streaming history, and for the Season 5 premiere, Netflix needed an IRL experience that matched the audience’s passion for 80’s nostalgia and childhood adventure.

In partnership with CicLAvia, we turned four miles of Melrose Avenue into the Upside Down through custom-fabricated rides, adventure quests, costumed flash mobs, recreated set pieces, local partnerships, and photo moments.

I developed the overarching concept and interactive activities, and on the day of the event, I was on the ground to coordinate with our partnered businesses.

One Last Ride brought 50K+ fans into the streets and fueled worldwide excitement for Season 5: 59M+ worldwide viewers tuned in, making it the largest premiere in Netflix history.
